<h1>Debian GNU/NetBSD für Alpha</h1>
<h2>Status</h2>
<p>Diese Portierung befindet sich im Augenblick in einem sehr vorläufigem
Stadium. Zurzeit kann sie nicht selbst booten, aber ein chroot ist verfügbar,
das auf einem nativen NetBSD-alpha System aufgesetzt ist. Einige grundlegende
Pakete sind bereits fertig, und es ist nun sogar möglich, einige Pakete zu
bauen mit:</p>

<p>Jedoch verwendet das chroot, in dem diese Pakete gebaut werden, immer noch
hauptsächlich die NetBSD-Bibliotheken (im Speziellen libc), gemeinsam mit gcc
und binutils. Das aktuelle Teilziel ist es, eine komplett funktionierende
<em>native</em> Debian Werkzeugkette herzustellen. Es gibt einige
<a href="https://lists.debian.org/debian-bsd/2002/debian-bsd-200201/msg00203.html">\
Probleme</a> damit, daher wird jede Hilfe sehr geschätzt.</p>
<h2>Verfügbare Pakete</h2>
<p>Die meisten der Binär-Pakete, die bis jetzt produziert wurden, ließen
sich mit wenigen bis gar keinen Änderungen übersetzen, obwohl im Augenblick
einige Fähigkeiten deaktiviert werden mussten, wegen einigen fehlenden
Erstellungsabhängigkeiten.</p>

<p>Im Augenblick sind weder die Binär-Pakete noch die chroot-Umgebung zum Bauen
online verfügbar, aber das wird bald geändert.</p>
<h3>Patches</h3>
<ul>
<li><a href="https://people.debian.org/~michaelw/debian-netbsd.patch">\
schneller und ungenauer Patch</a>, um
<a href="https://packages.debian.org/dpkg">dpkg</a> übersetzen zu können. Mit
zusätzlichen Änderungen von <code>INCLUDE_PATH</code> und
<code>LDFLAGS</code> lässt es sich sogar auf einem <em>nativen</em>
NetBSD-System übersetzen.</li>
