<p>所有对已发布的、稳定版本<q>stable</q>（和旧稳定版本<q>oldstable</q>）
中软件的更新都会在被接受进入软件仓库之前经过额外的一个测试阶段。
每次对稳定（或旧的稳定）发布版本进行的更新被称作一次小版本更新
（<q>point release</q>）。</p>
<p>对小版本更新进行准备的机制被称作拟议更新（<q>proposed-updates</q>）机制。
更新的软件包经由一个单独的队列进行上传，该队列被称为<code>p-u-new</code>
（或者<code>o-p-u-new</code>）。被接受之后，它们会进入拟议更新仓库
（<q>proposed-updates</q>）或旧稳定版本的拟议更新仓库（<q>oldstable-proposed-updates</q>）。

<p>如需经由 APT 使用这些软件包，您可以在 <code>sources.list</code>

仓库。

<p>请注意，来自 <a href="$(HOME)/security/">security.debian.org</a>
的软件包会自动复制到 p-u-new（或 o-p-u-new）队列中。
同时，直接上传到 proposed-updates（或 oldstable-proposed-updates）中的软件包
不受 Debian 安全团队的监控。</p>
